The Amiibo restocks keep trickling in with some Gamestops receiving extra shipments of the ultra-rare Shulk Amiibo. Like so many other hard to find Amiibo, Shulk was a retailer exclusive, making it only available via Gamestop. The figure sold out quickly, but has had a couple of very small restocks through the months, with a new one seemingly hitting very recently. Those that still want the Amiibo can check the Gamestop website to see if any stores have one near them. Of course it is always best to call ahead first, as the online indicator can be faulty, leading to wasted time and money.

Retailer exclusive Amiibo have been a bit of a mixed bag for collectors. Most have ended up being much more rare than other figures in the Wave, but some stores have handled the orders well, with Toys-R-Us being of particular note. Target recently had rumors that show why Nintendo and retailers enjoy these exclusives so much, with Jigglypuff becoming the fastest selling item in Target.com history.

Like them or not retailer exclusive Amiibo are here to stay, with rumors indicating that Wave 5 will see many more. Hopefully Nintendo has learned a bit from these last few waves and can supply enough figures to cover the extremely high demand.
