If we take a look back at all the games that launched this year, there are some that really stood out. While we had a good bunch of AAA titles like Horizon Forbidden West, God of War: Ragnarok, and Elden Ring, smaller games also made some ripples this year. One of those games that launched during the early months of 2022 was Sifu. A fighting game with great rogue-like elements launched for PlayStation consoles, Nintendo Switch and Epic Games. Today, we got some great news. Sifu will add a new mode called Arenas accompanied by a release on Steam and Xbox in the future.

The Arenas mode for Sifu will also arrive on Steam and Xbox when it launches

Today, the developers have released a trailer that shows a bit about how the Arenas mode in Sifu will look when it launches next to the Xbox and Steam releases. According to the description of the video, the mode will add 9 new maps and the arenas will add modifiers as you progress. If you are one of the skilled players who has beaten Sifu, then this means that you’ll have more hours to put in the game.

Sifu Update 1.15 Patch Notes

It is nice to see that a beloved game is making its way to all remaining platforms. While some people got it through Epic Games, a lot more prefer Steam. Speaking of which, the Winter Sale is a few days away, so it is a good time to check what’ll be on a discount that day. While we don’t expect to get a Sifu release for Xbox or Steam in the next few days, it is nice to see that the Arenas mode will bring something fresh to the title. There’s still not a set date for release, but we hope the developers bring more news soon.
