Simon Cowell had some things to say as he broods on Nolan Neal’s death. Neal passed on at the age of 41 after battling substance abuse. The saddening occurrence made Cowell share his view in an interview.
In the interview before the live shows on Tuesday, the 62-year-old judge on AGT stated that unfortunate deaths like Neal’s have occurred too much over the years. The judge reiterated that he was thinking the other day about people that passed untimely. As Simon Cowell reacted to Nolan Neal’s death, he asserted that such deaths are becoming too frequent. He went on to state that it’s horrible, especially after you’ve gotten to know the deceased.

Nolan Neal’s death was confirmed by his cousin, Dylan Seals, and the medical examiner’s office on July 18 to TMZ. Seals disclosed that his cousin, Neal, was found dead in his apartment. However, the exact cause of his estranged death is yet to be ascertained.
Neal’s cousin later told PEOPLE that Neal had to bow to the adverse effects of substance abuse. In his words:
Seals referred to his late cousin as one of the most talented people he had ever encountered in the music industry. According to Seal, the late Neal was a loving father and son. He was also a light to everyone that knew him. After Neal’s death was confirmed, his daughter set up a GoFundMe page for funeral preparation.
Prior to Nolan Neal’s death, he competed in America’s Got Talent before getting eliminated in the quarterfinals. He also competed in the 15th season of The Voice. His amazing performance earned him a spot on Adam Levine’s team. However, he was eliminated from the show later on.
Simon Cowell possibly reacted because prior to Nolan Neal’s death, he opened up about his substance abuse problems. Fans thought things would get better as he confirmed in 2020 that he got clean in 2010 and went to rehab.
