The tiny house movement has been gaining traction in recent years thanks to television shows such as Tiny House Hunting and Tiny House Nation. It’s also become a hit with a growing number of Sims 4 players, with several simmers creating miniature builds within the game.

Now EA has jumped on the trend with a new stuff pack, aptly titled Tiny Living. Writing on the Sims 4 site, EA said

A new way of living

The new tiny home residential lot type offers a 100 tile building limit. This will give additional benefits, such as reduced bills. EA also claims that “smaller spaces are good for encouraging relationships to bloom, and you’ll have plenty of leftover yard space for a garden.”

The new trailer showcases murphy beds, something which Sims 4 fans have been requesting for several years. Sadly, it looks like fans will still have to wait a little longer for other anticipated save-spacing items such as bunk beds and spiral staircases.  You may want to keep an eye on sims using the murphy bed, with sims able to get stuck both under and in the bed. Other new items seen include a tiny desk, tiny dresser as well as a new TV/stereo/bookshelf combo item.

Players can also expect to see some clothing items added to the game, with a chunky knit theme “for the ultimate indulgence in sweater weather,” according to EA.

We’ve seen some great expansions coming from EA in the last year, such as Island Living, Realm of Magic, and Discover University. It seems like EA has no intention of ceasing support for Sims 4 anytime soon, and it’ll be interesting to see what else they bring us in 2020.

The Tiny Living Stuff Pack is due to grace PC players on 21st January. Console players will have to wait a little longer until The Sims’ 20th anniversary on 4th February. You can view the trailer for the new stuff pack below.
