With The Sims 4 in its eighth year of existence, it’s hard to believe at times that new content is still on the horizon. The latest news has come from teasing concept art unveiled at a virtual presentation hosted by EA’s The Sims YouTube channel.

Electronic Arts hosted a live stream event, Behind The Sims Summit, on October 18, 2022. During the event, future DLC for The Sims 4 was teased. EA released a series of screenshots that gave a peek into what upcoming packs could hold. While only concept art, there are still some clear indicators of what will come for Simmers. The concept art doesn’t point in any specific direction but includes some intriguing ideas.

One of the most striking of these images is a pair of dentures in a glass of water. Another image includes a woman outfitted in branded undergarments, which reminds us of popular clothing lines like Calvin Klein. Other items like a lounge chair, rustic kitchen decor, and idyllic walking paths leave us with too little to speculate about.

It was not made clear in the live stream event whether or not the concept art was intended for multiple expansions or just one. We can speculate, however, when we spot that “New Worlds” are teased, meaning plural worlds. It has yet to be seen that more than one world is released per expansion, so we can reasonably assume this refers to a variety of packs if only two different DLCs.

Additionally, a teaser appeared at the end of the live event, sparking tons of interest from fans of The Sims 4. The video features gameplay of a baby crawling across the floor while cooing. As the baby reaches its destination, it lies on its back before being picked up out of frame by an adult. This hint likely means that a long-desired update to babies could be coming to The Sims 4. Currently, babies are the only assets to be interacted with, meaning fully fleshed infants would be a major update.
