Reports have just surfaced that Brandy Norwood, known simply as Brandy, has been hospitalized. According to reports, the veteran singer and actress suffered a possible seizure at her Los Angeles home on Tuesday around noon. She has been recovering at a nearby hospital ever since. There is no word of a preexisting condition that lead to the possible seizure. Brandy is 43 years old and has one daughter, who is 20.

The reports also state that Brandy’s  mom and dad, Sonja and Willie Norwood, have been by her side since she was hospitalized. The Norwood family has not released a statement regarding the situation. Brandy has entertained the world since she was 15. She is one of the highest-selling American female artists of all time and also famously starred in Cinderella, just to name a couple of her accomplishments. We wish her a speedy recovery during these trying times.

Brandy Has Been Busy Lately

Since 2020, Brandy has experienced quite a resurgence. After an eight-year break between albums, Brandy released the critically acclaimed b7. From there, she starred in the short-lived ABC series Queens. Earlier this year, Brandy filmed a movie for Netflix called Best. Christmas. Ever. Besides the Netflix film, Brandy recently wrapped production on the upcoming A24 film, The Front Room. She also recently announced a partnership with Stella Rosa for a line of Premium Imported Brandy.

Regarding music, Brandy has inked a new partnership with Motown Records ahead of her anticipated eighth studio album. Though it’s unclear if Brandy has started the recording process, some reports indicate that the music may not be far off. Brandy is considered one of the greats in R&B, and she remains one of the most relevant artists of her time. We hope everything is okay with her health and can’t wait to see how she continues to evolve in both music and acting.
