Christine Brown of Sister Wives franchise has taken a further step to distance herself from Kody and her fellow wives. The 50-year-old made a “gift” sale of the family land she owned at Coyote Pass to her ex-husband, Kody Brown.

According to the property deed, Sister Wives’ Christine Brown classified the sale  as a “gift.” In essence, she charged only ten dollars despite it being worth far more than that.

Why Did Christine Brown Sell Her Property To Kody?

The reality star long ago shared her desire to return to her home state in Utah and has moved north after ending her marriage to Kody. The mother-of-six now lives close to two of her daughters.

According to People, she decided to sell the family land she owned based on sentiments., and she has gone through with the action. The normal worth of the land is reportedly $213,420, but Christine decided the transaction should be a deed of gift for the price of $10.

The property sale started after the couple separated in 2021 and will be the storyline for the upcoming season. The season 17 trailer gave a glimpse of what fans could expect, as the former TLC star was seen packing her boxes.

The new season’s trailer, which will start on the 11th of September, showed a change in the title, signifying the split between Christine and Kody.

How Did Kody Feel About Christine’s Decision?

Christine entered the polygamous marriage in 1994 and became Kody’s third wife for twenty-five years. In a statement addressing the end of their marriage, Kody expressed how he felt about Christine’s decision. He shared:
