Fans of TLC’s Sister Wives have been reacting to Paedon’s child abuse claims against Meri Brown. Throughout the 17 seasons of TLC’s popular reality TV series Sister Wives, fans watched the troubled marriage of Meri Brown and Kody Brown play out publicly. After struggling to make it work for many years, Meri confirmed the end of her 32-year marriage to Kody in December 2022. However, it appears Kody was not the only person who had problems with Meri within America’s most famous polygamous family. Barely a month after the news broke of Meri and Kody ending their marriage, social media was thrown into a frenzy when one of Meri’s stepsons, Paedon Brown, made some shocking allegations of child abuse against her.

In a recent interview on YouTube Live with John Yates, Christine Brown’s son, Paedon, revealed that his stepmom was more than “mean” to the kids. Although he had described her as “abrasive” and “mean,” Paedon explained that it was hard to find the words to describe how terrible she was with him and his siblings. When asked if her abuse moved past verbal, Paedon seemed to respond in the affirmative but declined to give any further details “out of respect” for his mother, Christine. However, he did shed light on a 2019 Twitter feud that involved Janelle Brown’s daughter, Maddie Brown, and Meri.

During the ugly episode, Maddie seemingly called out her stepmom for being “abusive” and a “monster.” She eventually took down her Twitter account after the feud, but Paedon has now put life to those almost-forgotten claims by confirming Maddie was referring to Meri in her 2019 tweet.

Fans Support Paedon’s Claims Against Meri

Many of the show’s fans continued to express their feelings on the now viral interview via the thread. While the revelations from the interview stunned some fans, others expected it and felt no pity for Meri.

Fans Believe Meri’s Abusive Behavior Is Due to Her Personal Problems

It has been a tough few months for Meri, and things may get messier amid the child abuse saga. At some point, Meri would need to clear her name if she is innocent or tender an apology if those claims are true. Silence may not be her best ally in situations of this magnitude.
