Lofty Sky Entertainment has made an alpha demo of the Sky of Tides game available to its Discord community on November 3, 2022 from 8A.M PT/ 11A.M ET/ 3P.M GMT. The developer also released a new trailer to accompany the demo ahead of the sci-fi game’s official launch. The demo will be based on the game’s first two chapters as development progresses.
Sky of Tides Demo Game-play
Sky of Tides is a role-playing narrative game that immerses the player in the role of Rin. As Rin, your goal is to find your father in a hot-war zone called Numen. Numen is located in a technologically advanced setting whose oceans dangle in the sky.
Here, your adventure will take you through Rin’s home farm on Yantar to Bleached Relics, an unforgiving lonely wasteland. While at it, tour Numen searching for clues to finding your father. At the same time, shape your adventure to respond to the treatment you receive in the Numen community.
Sky of Tides game requires you to make logical decisions to help you navigate the harsh environments of Numen. To avoid sparking a battle, you’ll need to make wise decisions toward inventing a lovable and respectable character of Rin.
Additionally, you should also sharpen your dialogue skills with the characters you interact with in your adventure. Fill your conversation with a hint of humor, courage, compassion, and intelligence. The four skill sets will help you overcome negative responses; otherwise, you risk a confrontation with a Numen citizen.
The personality you develop in Rin will be indicated in character stats. Your actions, reactions, and conversation skills will build the type of character who will get the information you need in your quest. In good luck, you may even end up reuniting the people of Numen in time to stop the hanging oceans from causing catastrophic havoc.
