Entertainment Weekly reports that there will be a comic book series based on the popular Creepshow anthology series from Shudder. Skybound Entertainment will bring a Creepshow five-issue miniseries to comic stands everywhere. The miniseries’ first issue will release on September 21, 2022. Each subsequent issue features a different creative team.

 

Creepshow TV Series On Shudder

Shudder is a streaming service owned by AMC Networks. It primarily focuses on streaming horror, supernatural, and thriller properties such as The Dead Lands and The Pale Door. In 2019, the executive producer for Creepshow, Greg Nicotero, said the following:

Creepshow originated as a horror anthology film in 1982, directed by George A. Romero and written by Stephen King. The TV series premiered on Shudder in 2019. Earlier this year, the Shudder streaming service confirmed that the show will be returning for a fourth season.

Creepshow Miniseries At Skybound Entertainment

Robert Kirkman (The Walking Dead, Invincible) created Skybound Entertainment in 2010. Additionally, there are a number of horror and supernatural titles. The Walking Dead, Haunt, and The Astounding Wolfman call Skybound their home, making the publisher a perfect fit. The five-issue Creepshow miniseries will follow the TV show’s lead and be an anthology series as well. Several big names in comics will work on the miniseries. A few are as follows:

Creepshow’s executive producer, Greg Nicotero, had nothing but praise for the series ending up at Skybound.
