The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim patch version 1.7 will be pushed into console certification for the Xbox 360 and PS3 this week according to Bethesda. That is according to the recently announced plans by the developer. This update just recently went live for Skyrim PC players on Steam, and for PS3 players will bring numerous changes that prep the game for the Dawnguard DLC.

The Xbox 360 version of patch 1.7 includes numerous fixes related to the Kinect functionality that was recently introduced to Skyrim players. Mounted Combat and other features from update 1.6 will be rolled into update 1.7 for PlayStation 3 adventurers.

Bethesda has no exact time table for fans to expect the release of the game updates, but did confirm that the patch would enter certification later this week. Still playing coy about The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Dawnguard DLC on the PS3 and PC, Bethesda told fans yesterday that they should expect news about the downloadable content sometime this week as well.
