One of the first Upgrades players should unlock from the Fabricator in Slime Rancher 2 is the Jetpack, but crafting this equipment will require a resource known as Radiant Ore. The starting area west of the Conservatory has a variety of resources, from Slime Plorts to mineral and liquid nodes. However, as players explore the Rainbow Fields and other nearby locations, they will eventually come to realize that Radiant Ore is nowhere to be found on this initial island in Slime Rancher 2. This predicament is because the Ore’s nodes are not on the starting isle but spawn on a separate biome. 

Radiant Ore Location In Slime Rancher 2

The location of Radiant Ore in Slime Rancher 2 is Ember Valley, an isle separated from the starting island of the game. To reach this area, players will need to find a Pink Gordo Slime, a large variant of the Pink Slime that unlocks a special reward once fed a certain amount of food.  

Slime Rancher 2: Where to Find Moondew Nectar

First, to unlock the location of Radiant Ore in Slime Rancher 2, players must search for the Pink Gordo Slime within Rainbow Fields. YouTube content creator Epokk has provided the community with footage regarding where this large creature can be found. To get to its location, leave the Conservatory, traveling westward across the meadows. By following the trails toward the southwest, adventurers will eventually encounter a Refinery depository. From this landmark, head directly northward but walk near the right-hand side of the terrain. Soon, players will find a small alcove with an archway leading to the Pink Gordo. 

Similar to its Pink Slime counterparts, this massive Slime is not picky and will eat anything the player feeds it, such as Carrots or Pogofruit. Unlike typical Slimes, it will not produce Plorts but will instead continue to eat until it explodes, revealing a secret or granting the player a reward. In this case, feeding the Pink Gordo 30 pieces of food will uncover a geyser that will propel players onto a plateau with a portal. Entering the portal will teleport fans to the new Ember Valley region, where they will be able to find Radiant Ore. The Ore’s nodes typically generate on stone walls, elevated ridges, and other rocky areas. Keep in mind that the Harvest Upgrade is required to collect this resource.
