Axis Invasion Explained In Sniper Elite 5

The Axis Invasion mode is a new multiplayer mode that players that opt into the mode will take the role of an invading Jager Sniper, tasked with hunting down the player before they extract from the level as they are attempting to make it through the mission. The Jager Sniper must use the reactions of the AI to try and narrow down the location of the other player, meaning that those who are trying to make their way through the mission will need to rely on stealth more than ever before. If you enter combat with the AI, your locations will be immediately known by the enemy player.

Sniper Elite 5 Removed From Epic Store, Says ‘Coming Soon’

In order to track down the enemy sniper, the non-invading player can use black dial-up phones found around the map to provide intel on where to find the Jager Sniper, but doing this too many times will also narrow down your location to the enemy. These boxes can also be booby-trapped by the Jager Sniper, so be careful when you decide to use them.

If you would like to play, Sniper Elite 5 is now available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC on Steam.
