The TNT post-apocolyptic series Snowpiecer is coming to an end. The network has just announced that Snowpiercer Season 4 will also be the series’ last. Snowpiercer Season 4 is currently in production. Allegedly, TNT’s Snowpiercer got canceled because the cast’s options were coming up and were not picked up, releasing the actors to book other jobs. Either way, this is the end of the tracks for the popular network series, and the train will not be reaching its hoped-for destination in Season 5.
A statement from a network spokesperson read as follows,
Snowpiercer is based on director Bong Joon-ho’s 2013 action, sci-fi thriller of the same name. In 2020, the series premiered as the number one new scripted drama on all ad-supported cable. That’s a top spot to get in a world where streaming giants take up much of the space.

The TNT Snowpiercer series stars Daveed Diggs(Hamilton, The Little Mermaid), Mickey Sumner(Battle of the Sexes), Mike O’Malley, and Jennifer Connelly(Top Gun: Maverick). Other stars include Alison Wright, Lena Hall, Katie McGuinness, Rowan Blanchard, Iddo Goldberg, and many more. Some new additional actors hopping on the train for Snowpiercer Season 4 include Clark Gregg(Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) and Michael Aronov.
