Insider Tidux has shared an interesting piece of news about a brand new PlayStation 4 exclusive game reportedly in the making.
It’s a new SOCOM title, which Tidux claims to be pretty sure to be in the making and ready for a launch by the end of the generation.
According to the insider, this SOCOM game would be in a very early stage in the development process at an unnamed studio.
Tidux says “it’s a tactical online shooter, like R6,” so it seems to be like an effort from Sony to enter the competitive scene.
It’s a bit weird that such effort comes this late in the generation, but the brand is one community still loves and the platform owner could get back to soon.
Of course, this should be labeled as a rumor, even though Tidux has proved to be quite reliable as a source in the past few years.
