One game that had both critics and fans divided this year was Sonic Frontiers. The former were saying that the game was bad, had a weird story, and had terrible graphics issues. The latter though, claims that it was a playable game, and that’s a huge win already. While in our review we mentioned that the game might have been too big for its own good, that doesn’t mean it was bad. Even sometime after its release, people are still playing the game which is truly a new experience for our blue hedgehog. Now, this season, the developers have revealed that there is a free Christmas DLC for Sonic Frontiers. So, that is another reason for people to jump back into the game again.

The DLC is pretty small, but it is still great for players who are still dashing around the open world of Frontiers. The content includes the Holiday Cheer Suit for Sonic. It is a free item for this Christmas that developers have put out as a DLC for Sonic Frontiers. If you want to get all jolly while jumping around platforms, this is the right time to do it.

Sonic Frontiers Sells 2.5 Million Copies Worldwide
Now, while this is a free DLC, there might be more on the way. We already checked a previous roadmap that shows that there might be even more playable characters. This is great because it is truly what many Sonic games have offered in the past. Due to the story of Sonic Frontiers, it is only normal that we get to dash around the map with Amy or Knuckles. So, besides the Christmas DLC for Sonic Frontiers, there is more on the horizon. If you haven’t played the game yet, right now’s a perfect time.
