Sonic Mania Plus is on its way, and fans now have a release date for when they can expect the game to launch.

A new trailer shared by Sega earlier today reveals Sonic Mania Plus will land on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on July 17. The video shows off in-game footage from the upcoming rerelease, including the game’s new characters Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Squirrel. Both originally debuted in SegaSonic the Hedgehog, a platformer arcade game released in Japan between Sonic 2 and Sonic 3.

Sonic Mania originally launched last August for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game lets players take on the role of Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles as they run through 2D side-scrolling platformer levels that hearken back to the original Sega Genesis Sonic the Hedgehog video games.

Along with Sonic Mania Plus’ new characters, the game also features “new zones and reimagined classics” for players to check out as well as an expansion to the game’s multiplayer, allowing for four players at a time. The rerelease’s retail version even comes with an art book detailing some of the game’s artwork and concepts.

Along with the game’s rerelease and retail launch for consoles, Sonic Mania Plus’ updated content is available as a DLC upgrade for current owners on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Sonic Mania Plus will be available for $29.99 when it releases this July, and the game’s DLC upgrade will be available to current Sonic Mania owners at $4.99.
