Update 1.70 for the PlayStation 4 will include a new rich video editor app that allows you to customize gameplay videos on the console. The SHARE Factory features which are detailed in the video below allows you to use special effects filters, transitions, and themes to spruce up your gameplay creations. It allows for personalization via a text editor, stickers, audio tracks, and picture-in-picture editing using the PlayStation Camera.
SHARE Factory videos can be shared via Facebook, much like the Share button functions currently. Or, creators can now export them to an external USB and upload them anywhere, finally allowing PS4 owners to upload their gameplay videos to YouTube without the need for workaround setups to bypass HDCP.
