Are you an aspiring writer looking to break out in animation? Then we’ve got great news for you: Sony Pictures Animation is giving one lucky writer a chance to make their Hollywood dreams come true. The Academy Award-winning studio behind blockbuster hits like Hotel Transylvania, and Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse has partnered with The Black List to create The Sony Pictures Animation X The Black List Writers Program. This program will give one aspiring writer the opportunity of a lifetime: a chance to be an in-house writer for Sony Pictures Animation!

What Is The Black List?

The Black List is a platform used to amplify the work of aspiring film and tv writers. Screenwriters can choose between two paid subscriptions that grant them access to The Black List’s network of agents, managers, producers, and financiers. With these memberships, screenwriters can submit their work to be viewed and critiqued by experienced professionals in the film and tv industry–a task that can be particularly challenging for new writers.
