PlayStation has just revealed a new color scheme for the PS5 and the Pulse headset. If the stormtrooper look was too mainstream for you and the other color options were too simple, this new color scheme might just be what you are looking for. The gray camouflage collection for the PS5 comes with a controller, plates for your console, and the Pule 3d headset.
New Gray Camouflage Collection For the PS5
The new design is not the simple camo design you’ve seen before. The new design, like the console’s texture itself, incorporates the iconic PlayStation shapes into the camo pattern.
Preorders for the gray camouflage collection of accessories for the PS5 will begin next Thursday, September 15. Sony has also confirmed that the DualSense and console covers will come out on October 14 through official online stores. They will be available at retailers on October 28. The new Pulse 3D headset will come out in December.
Great news, hiding in plain sight ?

Since the PS5’s launch in 2020, the plain white color has been very divisive. With most buyers demanding a darker option. Sony delivered with both black plates as well as a few other colors called starlight blue, galactic purple, and nova pink. With this new gray camo being added to the bunch, Sony now offers seven colorways for the DualSense controller, three for its Pulse 3D headset, and six options for the console plates.
For anyone who wants their PS5 to blend in a bit more, the gray camo is ideal. The PS5 has recently seen a reduction in weight, attributed to a reduction in the size of the massive heatsink.
Other New Sony Hardware
In other Sony hardware news, the PlayStation 5 is getting a price bump because of supply chain issues, and Sony has revealed a new controller called the PlayStation Edge. The new controller is Sony’s answer to the Xbox Elite Controller, offering the same features, along with a few new additions we haven’t seen before.
