Sony is currently sending out surveys to gamers that have potential features we may see in a future PS4 update.

A user from NeoGAF got an invite only survey sent to them. The list of features asks people what is most important to them. There are some interesting features that are listed.

The features include: Notifications when friends come online, Filtering options in game libraries (e.g. installed only, download only, genre), PS2 Classics, Download avatars on PS4, Folders, Custom Backgrounds, PS1 Classics, Store wish list, ‘Appear offline’ mode, Increase max no. of people in a party, Hide/completely remove items from library (e.g. demos), Change PSN ID, Delete items from your library

Some of these features will be really helpful for console owners. Many people want to organize their libraries on the PS4 into folders or something to make it easier to find games. The addition of PS2 and PS1 classics sounds like a good thing too.

Whether or not some or all of the features come in a future PS4 update remains to be seen. The good thing to come out of this is that Sony is listening to the feedback and suggestions that fans give to them.
