South Park 25th Anniversary: The Series is Here to Stay

After purchasing the named restaurant from the series “Casa Bonita,” Parker and Stone took a hiatus from animating the series due to the pandemic in 2019. However, they launched three hour-long specials to hold fans over during the time period. Despite the hiatus, the duo signed a deal with ViacomCBS to keep the show running until its 30th season, with 14 movies. 2 of the 14 have already been released from this deal.

Primus and Ween’s connections to South Park date back to the first season. The latter contributed to the original song “The Rainbow,” while Primus wrote and recorded the show’s iconic theme song.

The South Park 25th Anniversary Concert will take place on August 10th at 7:30 PM. The link to register for tickets can be found here. The registration window to buy tickets goes from March 16th to March 20th. Plus the fees, tickets are looking to cost fans around 99$ with a maximum of two.
