Angelina Jolie dropped off her 17-year-old daughter, who she shares with Brad Pitt in Spelman College. The vice president of the institution assumed the role of a photographer to capture the moment. He went on to release the snaps on his Instagram.

In the first image, Jolie was spotted posing with Dr. Gayle, the president, on the school campus. In an accompanying video, the actress and school president were chatting while Holloman, VP, continued in his role with the camera. When Jolie was asked how she felt about dropping her daughter and becoming a Spelman mom, she became emotional.

The star responded that she was going to start crying as she’s yet to. Jokingly, Dr. Gayle teased that she’ll have lots of time to cry at the upcoming event. The event was made to intentionally induce tears from everyone in attendance.

Jolie already had an idea that tomorrow night will be the big night, and according to her, she was holding it together. In another image released by the VP, the Spelman mom and Zahara were captured in a dorm room. Angelina Jolie’s excitement about becoming a Spelman mom was first announced early this month.

The star shared the post and congratulated the new Spelman sisters starting this year. Angelina Jolie, the new Spelman mom, referred to the college as a very special place. She also included that it’s an honor to have a family member as part of the institution.

Brad Pitt, who also shares Shiloh, 16, Pax, 18, Maddox, 20, and the twins Vivienne and Knox, 14, was also excited about the news. He disclosed his reaction to the joyful news in an interview during the premiere of Bullet Train. According to him, having his daughter at Spelman College is something really beautiful.
