The final chapter of The City That Never Sleeps, the paid expansion pass for Spider-Man PS4, will wrap up next week with its final chapter. Entitled Silver Lining, the final paid DLC for Spider-Man will launch on Dec. 21, 2018.

Silver Lining will wrap up the storyline that has been strung out over the three-episode season. Silver Sable will obviously be coming back as the main source of conflict throughout this last chapter as she tries to deal with the events that have transpired with Hammerhead. Purchasers should expect a similar length to the last two Spider-Man DLC’s, so around two to three hours of content. The official synopsis from the PlayStation Blog is as follows:

As always, this DLC will come with new missions, new enemy types, side content, and costumes. Purchasers will gain access to three new suites including one from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which launches this week, as well as the Cyborg Spider-Man Suit and the Aaron Aikman Armor Suit.

This is the final DLC for Spider-Man PS4’s season pass, but Insomniac has yet to confirm if this is all that will come to the title. The last episode of the season left many gamers let down, as it didn’t move the story forward and left people wanting more. Hopefully, Silver Lining can right the ship and end the season on a high note.

Silver Lining will cost gamers $9.99 if bought individually, $24.99 if purchased as part of the season pass or $79.99 for those who have yet to pick up Spider-Man PS4 yet and also want access to the season pass with the deluxe edition.
