Splatter is a new FPS on the scene in the 3D shooter genre. The events here take place in a digital mindscape, but that doesn’t make it any less dangerous. In a place where digital renderings are a real danger, there is no shortage of action in Splatter.
Splatter FPS Demo Out Now
From the minds of Rat King Collective, comes what looks like a psychedelic trip through computers. It’s a world built for the death and destruction you spread. Splatter is an FPS that truly seeks to test your skill, and by skill we mean with finger guns. Here are some features of the action title Splatter:
- Decorate the Walls – Every enemy you take down bleeds rainbows. And the only weapon you need? Finger guns.
- Up Your Arsenal – Sure, you have finger guns. But, like any self-respecting shooter, you get a variety of types for your signature weapon.
- Leaderboards – Compete with others on the Splatter leaderboards. Challenge your own time and that of your friends. And see who has the best style.
- An Experienced Enemy – as you progress, the level of challenge will increase. Sure, you’ll get further, but enemies will adapt. Splatter shares that will few other FPS titles. And that will be where things get interesting.
Gamers can expect as many as 16 levels. Hopefully, it means loads of content. Additionally, anyone with easily triggered motion sickness may want to avoid the title. And while we won’t see the full release till 2022, there is a demo available on Steam. Since this is the developer’s debut title, we cannot compare it to previous work. Seeing where the developers go, however, is sure to be interesting.
