The 7.1.1 update has arrived for Splitgate, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added to this patch. Unlike the updates released so far, this one focuses more on bug fixes. Even the developer studio 1047 Games says this is a “quick little patch.” But it will still please the players with features that will increase the game experience. So, here’s everything with the new Splitgate 7.1.1 update.

Game Modes

  • Fixed bug that occasionally forced players to spawn with 1 or 0 weapons in Showdown
  • Reverted change that made successfully defending a flag result in no points in One Flag CTF
  • Fixed black screening bug on Xbox when selecting the difficulty in Race mode
  • Fixed bug in Hotzone that caused point progress bars to disappear while dead

Splitgate 7.1.1 Update: Gameplay

  • Fixed “Portal Ripping” bug

Progression

  • Fixed bug that caused a soft lock with the Battle Pass animation after playing Showdown
  • Fixed a visual bug that caused the Battle Pass to progress infinitely

UI

  • Fixed issue with assist kills not being properly shown on the post-game screen.
  • Fixed bug that caused medals during a game not to match the medals in the post-game screen

Ranked Matchmaking Tuning

  • Players ranked Diamond and Masters can only queue in parties of 2 or less in the respective ranked playlist
  • Players ranked Champion can only solo queue in the respective ranked playlist.
  • Prioritized getting the most balanced match possible over a quicker queue time

Splitgate 7.1.1 Update: Twitch Drops

  • Fixed issues preventing players from receiving items in their locker

1047 Games says they really care about players’ feedback. Also, the company is asking players to continue reporting bugs in the title to them.

“We wanted to get these fixes out ASAP due to the feedback we received from the community. If you know of another bug that isn’t part of today’s patch notes, we’re most likely already aware of it and adding it to our next update. Regardless, keep tweeting at us about bugs you see in Splitgate; while we may not respond to everyone, we do read them all!”
