Beta Season 1 update highlights

Splitgate Beta Season 1’s introduction of a new map creator allows players to unleash their creativity and create their dream map. Players can build a map alone, or with up to 8 friends simultaneously. Place objects, weapons, spawn points, building blocks, portal walls, and more. The map creator also allows rotation and magnetic snapping between scenery to make placing objects easier. With a fully customizable controller and mouse and keyboard support, the map creator can be accessed by everyone, regardless of platform. Start creating and sharing your maps now!

Beta Season 1 also brings a complete reimagining of the Foregone Destruction map. Enhancing visual fidelity and overall design of the map. The update brings the map up to the AAA standards, indicative of what fans can expect in the future.

Also, live are the Evolution and One Flag Capture-the-Flag game modes, bringing the total number of game modes offered by Splitgate to 21. In One Flag, teams take turns attacking and defending the flag in alternating rounds. Evolution is a variation of the existing Showdown game mode. The mode is round-based with a set weapon loadout, and the first team to 6 points wins. After that, the losing team’s loadout will improve.

The Splitgate Beta Season 1 update boasts other features as well. Such as new challenges, Season 1 referral rewards, and a new Battle Pass. The Beta Season 1 Battle Pass has 100 levels of free and premium tiers. Even more reason to get in on Beta Season 1. Included are new characters, jetpacks, skins, wraps, and other items.
