It is that wonderful time of year when all things spooky and scary take precedence over everything else. And who can blame you? But with all the spooky content available at your fingertips, sometimes it’s hard to know where to start, but don’t worry! The Nerd Stash has you covered on some of the spookiest YouTube channels out there for all sorts of scares!

Nuke’s Top Fives

Nuke’s channel is great for those who love real-life ghosts and straight-up weird occurrences. From the paranormal to just odd human behavior, Nuke releases a Top Five video every week with some hair-raising viral videos. While some weeks are definitely better than others, Nuke always has something new and interesting to offer.

Ghosts of Carmel Maine

Often featured on Nuke’s YouTube channel, Ghosts of Carmel Maine never disappoints. While their channel is chock full of ghostly goodies, the most terrifying videos deal with a house haunted by shadow people. If your jaw doesn’t drop while watching some of these ghostly encounters, then you’re much braver than I am.

Reignbot

Reignbot is a YouTube channel I discovered recently, and I quickly binge-watched everything she had to offer. Her videos are more like an in-depth analysis of weird internet happenings than anything else, but they’re still super spooky to boot. I highly recommend her videos on the “Dear David” tweets or the @gr3ggory88 Twitter account.

MrCreepyPasta

Now for those of you who enjoy your scares from the narrative variety, MrCreepyPasta is definitely for you. Right now, they’re live-streaming spooky stories around the clock for your listening pleasure. If that’s not your jam, there’s is plenty to binge from short stories to hour-long excursions.

CryptTV

If you don’t have a lot of time on your hands, CryptTV does short-form horror incredibly well. You’ll quickly binge these well-written and produced shorts despite the screams of terror. There are little horror shorts of all varieties, so take a look… If you dare.

Nexpo

Nexpo is a lot like Reignbot’s channel, and while all of his videos are easily binge-able, I’m including him for a specific playlist: Disturbing Things. There are nine videos so far, and each of them delves into an odd YouTube account or a weird internet phenomenon. Don’t believe me? Check it out for yourself!

John Wolfe

If you enjoy horror games, especially of the indie variety, you definitely should check out John Wolfe’s channel. His sense of humor and occasional jump scare makes this channel well worth checking out– especially his “Childhood Cringe” series.
