According to a new rumor, Spyro the Dragon: Treasure Trilogy is set to be announced in the day of tomorrow, March 16. The rumor basically confirms a previous hint from Kotaku.uk, which first revealed the news a few weeks ago.

The new intel comes from insider B4DAS, who already discussed the reveal of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and so is seemingly well informed about the things happening at Activision.

Based on this information, the remaster is being developed at Vicarious Visions, the same studio of the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, and is set to be a PlayStation 4 exclusive at launch. One year later, it would be coming to the other platforms, same as the N. Sane Trilogy.

The Treasure Trilogy would be featuring the first three games in the series, which would be Spyro the Dragon, Spyro Ripto’s Rage and Spyro Year of the Dragon, originally released for PlayStation between 1998 and 2000.

As the source is apparently reliable, we’re holding our breath in the wait for a formal announcement tomorrow, March 16.
