Square Enix has been building toward the next stage in their Final Fantasy VII retelling for quite some time now. Many fans were curious about the rest after leaving various hints in their first Final Fantasy VII Remake. While the original story had many installments of various side games, the new remake seems to be tying together all of the story elements. Yet much of the Final Fantasy VII story context was revealed in these side titles. While these games gave the opportunity for new stories, many fans were hesitant about their capability to tell a story. Often feeling that the additions detracted from what made the original so special, Square Enix has seemingly started to embrace a new way to weave the Final Fantasy VII compilation more cohesively. In the Final Fantasy VII 25th anniversary stream, Square Enix revealed the upcoming FFVII Crisis Core Reunion, remastering the original PSP title.

When Does Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core Reunion Release?

While many long time fans of the eponymous Final Fantasy VII Remake know of the various compilation games in the series, many newcomers are not aware of the game’s existence.
