Final Fantasy XIV is an ever-evolving MMO from Square Enix. This live-service game sees constant updates and changes, even after a massive update like Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker’s 6.0 patch. The team at Square Enix continues to revamp the game with bug fixes, character balances, and even new Data Centers. The launch of the Oceanian Data Center marks another milestone for the popular RPG, and one Square Enix has deemed worth celebrating.

To christen the Oceanian Data Center, the Final Fantasy XIV team created a map of the Australian and New Zealand continents using their game’s style, language, and creatures. The piece was released via Twitter on Jan. 25, 2022, alongside the 6.08 Patch. The 6.08 patch brings several changes to the game as well, including buffs for the various DPS jobs in Final Fantasy XIV.
