It looks like we may get a glimpse of Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens earlier than we thought as the toys will be on shelves quite early.

As reported by IGN, Hasbro sent word that Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens toys will be in North American shelves on September 4th. Hasbro is marketing the date as “Force Friday”.

This is significant because Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens isn’t out until December 18th in North America. Toys usually come out months before a movie and gives us a sneak preview on what’s to come. We can also take a closer look at some of the costumes from the characters and vehicles they may be using in the movie too.

We can be sure there will be Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens toys from the classic characters. Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Chewbacca and more will all be in the new movie. Not to mention classic vehicles such as the TIE Fighters, X-Wings and the Millennium Falcon will all be in it too.

However, the Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens toy line may also give us a closer look at the new characters. The main good guys will be Finn, Rey and Poe Dameron. The main villains are said to be Kylo Ren and Captain Phasma.

Will you be lining up to buy toys from the Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens range?
