Star Wars Battlefront 2 is getting a brand new gameplay mode next week, and you may be surprised to hear what it is. It’s called Ewok Mode, and it’s exactly what it sounds like.

Yes, you’ll be able to play as the furry, teddy bear-like creatures that make some viewers swoon and outright horrify others for some reason. And if you don’t want to play as the Ewoks, then you can play as the Imperial Stormtroopers blasting them to bits.

Ewok Hunt transports players to Endor to traipse through the forest after Stormtroopers or to gun down the little buggers as the white-and-black soldiers. It’s coming to Star Wars Battlefront 2 on April 18, so you’ve got until next week to start planning out your strategies.

If you choose to play as an Ewok, you’ll be tasked with defending your village against the troopers invading it, with spears, fairy-like creatures known as Wisties, and a host of other abilities at your disposal. Choose Stormtroopers, and you’ll have a host of weapons with which you can dispatch the Ewok threat. But each time a Stormtrooper is killed off, another Ewok is sent back to the map, and it’ll keep happening until one faction is wiped out.

In addition to the new mode, Star Wars Battlefront 2 is also getting Endor-themed cosmetic items so you can dress up characters like Han and Leia, giving them a shiny new Endor look. You’ll be able to purchase them with in-game credits known as crystals, the microtransactions that are returning to the game as of next week.
