Disney is holding a special Star Wars Celebration event in April and EA has now been added as one of the exhibitors. This is a strong sign that the first gameplay footage from Star Wars: Battlefront will be revealed.
Star Wars: Battlefront is arguably the most anticipated video game of 2015. The last game of the series came out exactly 10 years ago, so fans have been waiting for a sequel for a very long time.
The Star Wars Celebration event itself is a perfect setting for EA to reveal more exciting things about Star Wars: Battlefront. The company has kept quiet about the game, so it’s time for some big reveals. DICE already showed some footage of the game to Gamestop employees earlier this year. It was a behind closed doors event, so sadly the public didn’t get to see anything.
Star Wars: Battlefront may not be the only game to appear at the Star Wars Celebration. EA also has Star Wars video games from BioWare and Visceral Games in the pipeline. It will be cool if another Star Wars game gets revealed officially soon as well.
The Star Wars Celebration event is being held in Anaheim, California. The event runs from April 16th until April 19th.
