Several classic Xbox games are now backwards compatible on the Xbox One, including 2005’s Star Wars Battlefront II and its predecessor, Star Wars Battlefront.
Eleven original Xbox games were added yesterday for Xbox One, and over half are Star Wars video games. Five titles included in the update are also from Pandemic Studios, the developer responsible for Star Wars: Battlefront and Star Wars: Battlefront II.

- Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy

- Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords
- Star Wars Republic Commando
Meanwhile in Europe, Xbox players also received Panzer Elite Action: Fields of Glory. It remains unclear if the game will be available for Xbox One’s backwards compatible library in the U.S. at a later date, although for now it seems unlikely—the game originally released in 2006 without a North American launch.
Xbox One’s backwards compatible library opened up to games from the original Xbox in October, bringing BloodRayne 2, Psychonauts, and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic onto the Xbox Marketplace. Xbox has since expanded its classic Xbox catalog over the past year, with hits such as The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and Jade Empire launching earlier this month.
