Star Wars Battlefront: Ultimate Edition has just been officially announced. The new package combines together the base game and the Season Pass, giving players a plethora of content for the game, right from the beginning. The new trailer also shows off some upcoming content, including some stuff from the new film, Star Wars: Rogue One.

The official description reads, “The Star Wars Battlefront Ultimate Edition has everything you need to live out your Star Wars battle fantasies, including Star Wars Battlefront and Star Wars Battlefront Season Pass. Rebels and Imperials alike will be able to expand their galaxy, with 4 expansion packs, 30+ maps, 14 heroes and 14 game modes”

At the time of release, many criticized Star Wars Battlefront for a lack of overall content. Maps and game modes were kept to a minimum. Combining this with the overall lack of a single player campaign gave players a feeling that the game was not wholly complete. The add-on DLC that has released since launch has filled a lot of the gaps that were left though, so this package could satisfy many disappointed gamers.

We don’t yet have the official pricing info for the release, or when to expect it to be available on storefronts. That all should come soon though, so check back for updates.
