The Force is strong with Minecraft. In a recent press release and announcement on their website, the smash-hit sandbox game announced that there would be a collaboration between Star Wars and Minecraft.

The collaboration comes in the form of exciting new DLC, now available in the Minecraft Marketplace. The pack is inspired by the original trilogy and The Mandalorian. The DLC includes a map, a skin pack, a full bespoke texture set, mobs and items reskins, a UI reskin, and even a licensed soundtrack.

The 36 available skins allow you to depict iconic characters from the Star Wars universe. If that weren’t enough, pilotable vehicles – including the X-Wing and speeders – are on the menu. So, if you ever wanted a Minecraft version of Star Wars, you’ll be all set. You’ll also be able to roam around in iconic Star Wars settings. The pack comes with 12 planet dioramas “connected by Hyperspace travel”. These include Hoth, Endor and Tatooine. Also included are Nevarro and Sogan from The Mandalorian.

This incredible collab can only strengthen Minecraft‘s already-massive popularity. Since the game’s release in 2011,  the game has amassed 126 million players worldwide. Its sales topped 200 million this year. The sandbox building sim’s cementation in popular culture has led to a number of cross-promotional events. Earlier this year, Minecraft even received its own cereal by Kelloggs. The box featured a Creeper, an iconic enemy of the game.

You can purchase the Star Wars Minecraft Mash-up via the Marketplace here. This is the DLC you are looking for. Get it now or be a scruffy-looking nerf-herder.
