Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is already one of the most anticipated games this year, and it’s still to showcase its gameplay — which is not happening until June.

Anyway, we’ve got quite good vibes from the reveal trailer that has been dropped a couple of weeks ago, and the team behind it at Respawn, led by God of War III’s Stig Asmussen, has been widely praised for its work on the game.

One more praise comes from iconic writer Chris Avellone, who’s worked on several scenes for the title in a freelance role as he’s used to doing since he left Obsidian Entertainment a few years ago.

According to Avellone, Asmussen “has a really solid vision and even better, he’s able to communicate it. So he set a really good path for the project.”

He also added that he had already met with “lead narrative designer on Fallen Order, Aaron Contreras (…) one of the key developers on Mafia 3. And I always wanted a chance to work with them. So this was a chance to do that. And working with both of those guys was absolutely great.”

Avellone mentioned that Lucasfilm was great to work with, so we should have an idea of the influence of the studio behind the entire Star Wars franchise while playing Jedi: Fallen Order on November 15, 2019.

The title is set to be an action adventure game for solo players, which means it’ll be quite different from your usual EA production and one we look forward to build a proper franchise.
