Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, the critically acclaimed narrative adventure game from the developers of Titanfall, will be getting a sequel in 2023 in the form of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. In a partnership with Lucasfilm Games, Respawn will be continuing the up-and-coming franchise, hoping to expand upon what the first game built up. They also celebrated the announcement with a debut trailer which you can find below!

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is set to continue the journey of fan-favorite Jedi Cal Kestis, five years following the events of Fallen Order. The Empire is still hot on his trail and is looking to put an end to him, and the weight of his responsibility is finally beginning to weigh on him. He’s not alone though, as a wide cast of new and returning characters and ready to give Cal the help he needs. Oh, and of course, his trusty companion BD-1 is there for more than just moral support. This all, combined with expansions to the dynamic combat found in the first game, is sure to make Cal’s second outing even better than the first.

Stig Asmussen, game director at Respawn Entertainment, had the following to say regarding today’s announcement:

In the meantime, I’d love to hear your thoughts on the announcement. Are you excited to play through Star Wars Jedi: Survivor? What do you hope is changed, seeing as it’s a sequel to Fallen Order? Let me know!
