The Jedi, Droids, and Outcasts Invade Nintendo

For the third Nintendo Direct of 2021, the event presented a variety of trailers. The Knights of the Old Republic was quite a surprise, with many fans expressing awe and admiration when the trailer went live.

The Nintendo Direct trailer for Knights of the Old Republic announced everything that players would need to know. Band together with fellow heroes of the galaxy while carving your destiny with the Force. It’s cut with multiple pivotal scenes from the narrative, along with snippets of electrifying gameplay.

It’s very brief, lasting for only less than half a minute, as with some of the others during the event. But the only essential news that the trailer delivers on is the release date for the Switch release.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic follows the player’s journey into a conflict between the Jedi and the Sith. With story branching elements infused with RPG gameplay, what you do will reflect on who you become. You either become one with the Force, or you give in to the Dark Side. The choice is up to you.

The title has received the port treatment several times, with mobile and PC versions keeping the game alive. A PlayStation 5 and PC remake is currently in the works, with the former acting as exclusivity for consoles, but only for a small period of time.
