The Bad Batch isn’t through yet with saving others from the wrath of the Empire. Coming this Fall 2022 to Disney+, Star Wars fans will get to join Clone Force 99 – AKA The Bad Batch – for another seasonal round of animated heroism. The announcement for season 2 comes as part of the Star Wars Celebration event, with the official trailer for The Bad Batch dropping on the final day.

Clone Force 99 Return for Season 2 in The Bad Batch

Hunter, Tech, Wrecker, Crosshair, Echo, and Omega continue to evolve in the new footage for The Bad Batch. With new allies on the way, they’ll need all the help they can get with the Emperor preparing for a new phase in his Galactic Empire. But as our Star Wars universe continues to expand, we’ll also see some familiar faces returning to the scene. They could be hard to miss for a couple of glimpses within the trailer; keep an eye out for Jedi Wookie Gungi and Commander Cody to pop up.

The Bad Batch originally premiered on May 4, 2021, with the first season lasting until August 13. It met positive reception from both fans and critics, thus prompting the announcement for the second season. No specific date has been given for now, but Star Wars fans can expect the new season to launch sometime this Fall on Disney+.
