• Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was a prequel to Episode IV: A New Hope. But as dedicated fans know, the prequel is itself getting a prequel, with a Disney+ series focusing on Cassian Andor currently in the works.

The 40-year-old actor first portrayed Cassian Andor in 2016’s Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. It’s been four years since then so perhaps it’s no spoiler to say that Andor dies in the end, alongside every main character introduced in said movie. The series, obviously, will take place during his years before that, serving in the Rebellion.

While Luna admits he knows “very little,” he has read some scripts and “can’t wait” to get back into the boots of Cassian Andor once again.

Meanwhile, the much-anticipated Obi-Wan series is set to start filming in January 2021. This six-episode one-season series will explore the Jedi Master’s life between the events of Episode III and IV of the main movie series.
