Star Wars is one property that will never truly be gone, but following the release of Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith in 2005, it was looking like the movie part of the franchise was done. That all changed upon the purchase of the franchise by Disney a couple years ago, which is bringing us not only a new trilogy of movies, but also a series of spinoffs. The first of those spinoffs was officially revealed at the Star Wars Celebration as Rogue One and while Star Wars is certainly a science fiction series, one of the writers involved wants to make sure the science itself is as accurate as possible by enlisting an icon in the field of astrophysics.
Chris Weitz is one of the screenwriters tasked with putting together the story of Star Wars: Rogue One and evidently has come across something he hopes to get clarification on involving space. As a result, he used Twitter to try and contact famed astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson in the following tweet:

Sadly, as of this time he has not responded to his tweet for help with Star Wars: Rogue One, at least publicly. Tyson is really known for his communication with fans, so hopefully someone will bring this to his attention and he can help out. It would make sense for the man involved with the recent iteration of Cosmos to help out on something with a Star Wars movie after all.
Star Wars: Rogue One will be coming to theaters on December 16, 2016.
