One of the best Star Wars video games, Star Wars Squadrons, and a revival of classic X-Wing and TIE fighter simulators is freely available at the Epic Games store on November 24. The game has a fresh take on the vulnerable X-Wing and TIE Fighter simulation games from the 1990s, developed by Motive Studios with just the right amount of contemporary polish and flare.

Star Wars: Squadrons is Free Until December 1

One can learn more about why Squadrons is one of the top Star Wars video games of recent years in the Star Wars: Squadrons review. It has a single-player 14-mission campaign that acts as an introduction and warm-up for multiplayer.

A player can compete in combat against another squad of five pilots to see who can rack up 30 kills first. But a fleet battle, which simulates a phased tug-of-war between two rival battle cruisers, offers a more tactical experience.

Even when switching action to virtual reality, which Squadrons offer in both single-player and multiple players mode, it still has lots of fun and looks fantastic. Each fighter’s cockpit is beautifully detailed, and they all have the worn-in dinginess of their on-screen equivalents in the first three Star Wars movies.

Since its release, Squadrons has received several fresh feature upgrades, including new maps and the legendary B-wing.

Get your free copy of Star Wars: Squadrons next week by visiting the Epic Games store. If you want to shop via Valve’s storefront, you may also look at the top free games on Steam. If you don’t have an account, you must create one; the process is cost-free.

In the meantime, you can get a chance to participate in deep-space combat. And engage in a range of well-known yet unexplored Star Wars Universe settings (SWU). Now, Star Wars: Squadrons is free from today, November 24, 2022, to December 1, 2022.
