Starcraft II has been out for some time now, but if you’ve grown tired already of the strategy game perhaps we can suggest an alternative. How’s six on six in Space with Custom Air Units sound? Yes, it is as good as it sounds. The space combat mode was introduced recently to the custom maps section of StarCraft II and is actually quite popular. And with the added media attention that has been given to it over the past few days is likely to be even more so now. The mod is available on US and European Battle.net servers.
To play the Star Battle gametype, open your Starcraft II game and navigate to the Custom Games Tab in the Multiplayer Section of the Game. Once there, you can either join or create a new game under Star Battle by using the drop down menu or search bar to find the map labled Star Battle. It is one of the more popular custom game types and is always listed near the top of the custom games or in the popular section.
