We all know that release dates for games can change at any moment. Some change them to improve the game while others just keep delaying titles as much as possible. Looking at you, Skull and Bones. Now, there is another game that got a date change on Steam. While this isn’t something completely bad, some players are worried. Starfield just got its release date changed on Steam. This could spell bad news for the game as it has changed the date to something uncertain. With such a huge game in the works, some people wonder if something bad is going on inside the studio.

Many games on Valve’s platform tend to put the estimated year of release. This was the case with the upcoming sci-fi RPG. Sadly, things have changed. Starfield’s release date on Steam has gone from ‘2023’ to ‘Coming Soon’. This is making a lot of people nervous because the date is now uncertain. However, some others say that this might just be a bug on the platform and the game is still coming this year. Yet, many people think that with how ambitious this title is, a delay isn’t too crazy. We could be getting more news soon if the Starfield presentation happens. We know Xbox is going to have a show on January 25 and there is a Starfield showcase also in the works. If the release date on Steam has changed, that means we could get the official launch date for Starfield soon. Or so we hope. While we’ve only seen a bit of the gameplay so far, people are expecting to get much more. With such an ambitious title, it is only normal that gamers to get what they are expecting. If this is truly Bethesda’s biggest game, then they have a lot of work to do in order to meet players’ expectations.
