Starfield Gameplay and Story
The 2022 Xbox & Bethesda showcase presented gameplay footage of the highly anticipated game Starfield, which is set on a moon called Kreet in an interstellar open world. Todd Howard, the game’s creator, showed off features such as character creation, a skill system, crafting, and the ability to establish outposts on alien worlds.
Howard also demonstrated the extensive customization options for players’ spacecraft, including the ability to choose modules from different manufacturers. The expansive game allows players to explore over 1,000 planets in more than 100 star systems.
In the game, players can select a background for their character, such as combat medic, bouncer, professor, or homesteader, each of which comes with three starting skills. The character skills available include medical knowledge, laser proficiency, persuasion, and bargaining. These skills are standard features in Bethesda role-playing games.
