As we get closer and closer to the release date, State of Decay 2 preloads have been just made available for everyone to start downloading the game and prepare themselves in order to play it from the very first moment after the unlock on Xbox One and Windows 10.
As reported by Reddit users, the preload to State of Decay 2 – the latest entry in the survival, cooperative zombie based experience from Microsoft’s second party studio Undead Labs – has just been made available for every player around.
This means you can start downloading it and get ready to launch it as soon as the server of the game are officially open, which is at some point on May 18, the day when the Ultimate Edition releases together with the early access. Otherwise, you’ll need to wait until May 22.
The preload, according to Reddit, weighs in at 20GB, which is a much bigger download in comparison with the State of Decay Year-One Survival Edition remaster for Xbox One (which was around 3,7GB back in the days).
This new release features cooperative mode and native support to Xbox One/Xbox One X, so it doesn’t really come as a surprise to see it’s a much bigger download to start playing on the current-gen Microsoft console.
