Only a few hours ago, we reported about an incoming media event, which is scheduled for the press on September 24, 2019. Now, we learn that this might not be the only PlayStation event to be held in that week.

Indeed, as shared by analyst Daniel Ahmed (who goes by the nickname ZhugeEX on ResetEra), Sony will be hosting another event in the same week, which is seemingly linked to The Last of Us Part II itself and could be perhaps revealing the release date or more merely a new gameplay trailer.

Ahmed is known to be particularly reliable, especially when it comes to PlayStation (he shared about Final Fantasy VII Remake State of Play re-reveal a few months ago), so we have reason to believe that something big is on its way.

At the time being, we haven’t received any communication from Sony’s end for what matters a new State of Play, even though it’s worth noting that we’re still a couple of weeks ahead of the week in question and communications usually happen closer to the State of Play’s beginning.

With Death Stranding releasing on November 8, 2019, it looks like Sony is ready to share some more information about one of its big three incoming titles, which also include Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Tsushima. Only time will tell if this is set to happen with another State of Play, though.
