Sony won’t be coming at E3 2019 but is doing all the things it can do in order to steal the show, or at least a bit of attention from Microsoft and Nintendo being there. Last week it revealed brand new gameplay and the release date of Death Stranding, and it seems it’s coming up with even more soon.

As shared by Walmart Canada editor in chief who goes by the name “The Hunter” on Twitter, there’s a brand new State of Play coming this June with updates on The Last of Us Part II and Ghost of Tsushima.

A State of Play was rumored to be airing last week, but Sony ultimately didn’t announce anything on that side. By the way, from the looks of it, there’s a chance it was only delayed last minute in order to leave enough room for Death Stranding’s news.

The Hunter had shared news of that State of Play on May 27, 2019, and said he is still standing behind that rumor, perhaps because he knows inside stuff about that happening. He had said in that same occasion that Kojima Productions game’s release date would be coming upon the PlayStation livestream date, so he could possibly be saying the truth.

With that in mind, another rumor, seemingly more reliable as it is coming from Kotaku’s Jason Schreier, claims that Ghost of Tsushima will be out in 2020 and more precisely in the first half of the year. Schreier had also said that The Last of Us Part II was supposed to be released in 2019 but in the end it was decided that it would be dropping in early 2020, like February, instead.

Sony capturing the E3 spotlight without even attending. This is fascinating to watch!
